Hi, I’m Monica.

I'm a Human Factors researcher, a storyteller, and someone who shows up fully for the people and problems I care about.

I've spent fifteen years at Google, YouTube, Agoda, and beyond asking why things break down for real people and what it would take to make them genuinely better. I want to leave things better than I found them — systems that work, people who feel heard, and organizations that move more clearly than they did before.

I work best when the problem is real, the people are good, and there's something worth building together.

I care more about people than about the work. That's always been the point.

My Approach

Beavers don't just build — they rewild. One beaver reintroduced into a broken ecosystem and streams return, life comes back, everything downstream recovers. Not through force. Through patience, listening, and building what the landscape needs. And never alone.

That's how I work. I'm a beaver.

I focus on two areas:

People and technology in organizations: Working with teams so people and systems flow better together.

Digital literacy: Helping students, parents, and teachers navigate the digital ecosystem intentionally so technology works for them, not the other way around.
